Our Word Wall displays words that students use frequently in their writing.  They are usually words that do not follow a common pattern and must be learned through repetition.  New words are added as they are introduced.  Students are expected to spell Word Wall words correctly in their writing, as they can refer to the Word Wall at anytime.  Words with a star are expected to be spelled from memory by the end of 1st grade.  Bold words are words that kindergarten kids should be able to read by the end of the year.  You can use our online Word Wall to help with writing at home!
